  1. This is the last version of the DataTool application 
  2. developed using AppMaker, TCL 1.1.3 and Think C.  It is being 
  3. re-implemented in TCL 2.0 under the new Symantec C++ 7.0.  I 
  4. may add support for browsing volumes as if they where files 
  5. (similar to Fedit) and resource file support.  Who knows, I 
  6. could add SCSI block browsing (done it in another app;) pre-
  7. defined HFS types and who knows what, it depends on whatever 
  8. users have to say (to date that has been very little).

  10. Having gotten a wopping 2 registered users under the cripple 
  11. ware releases, I am re-releasing it as a "pure" shareware 
  12. offering.  If you use it more than 2 times then you must send 
  13. Applied Technical Software the shareware fee of $16.00.  
  14. Registered users will be able to upgrade to the new version 
  15. free (sans postage/disk) and get support for defect 
  16. correction.  Cool feature ideas, if implemented, get you a 
  17. free application to test.
